Thank you so much for looking at our family. We are each others confidants, cheerleaders, and best friends. We were blessed when we adopted our son, Kyle, in 2010 and we can not wait to expand our family once again through adoption. We hope to hear the dreams you have for your child.

Dear Expectant Parent,

As soon as we met in college, we knew that we had a strong bond and were meant to be together. After dating for five years, we were married on a beautiful June day in 2005. We are each others confidants, cheerleaders, and best friends. Kyle came into our lives through open adoption in 2010. It was the most amazing experience that we have ever had and one that we look forward sharing with him as he grows up. When we have another child, we can only imagine how life would be! We envision the two swinging in the backyard on their swing set throughout the summer, playing tag with the neighborhood kids or spending the day picking apples in the fall at one of our local farms.

We have a warm, supportive family and we get together regularly to share family dinners, celebrations and holidays. Christmas's are filled with huge traditions for our family. We are always excited to share our Christmas with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Scott and enjoy a long day of eating of our traditional 5 course meal. Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Scott have recently moved to our area from Rhode Island so they can be near our family not only for times of celebration but to be a bigger part of our every day family life. They can not wait to spoil the kids by taking them out for ice cream, visiting the train museum or having sleepovers. Nanny and Pop-Pop love visiting us from Florida and are always thrilled to spend time with grandchildren by the pool or snuggling during a movie. Our children will get to enjoy regular visits with their cousins in Pennsylvania and California as well. It is a special moment for us when we watch Kyle running around playing hide and seek in the backyard with his cousins and we know that they he will need another teammate on his side.

Our careers have also shaped our lives. Matt has a Master’s Degree in physical therapy and enjoys his job as the director of physical therapy for an orthopedic surgeon. He is challenged daily to rehabilitate his patients so they can return to their daily activities. Angela has her Bachelor’s Degree in occupational therapy and has obtained her Master’s Degree in special education. Angela treasures her job as a school-based occupational therapist. She gets a thrill from seeing her students who have special needs grow and develop their skills so they become more independent in both their school and home environments. Both of us feel education will be a strong background in our children's life and we plan to help them learn in and out of the classroom.

We have so many things we do as a family but we are missing one thing, the sound of laughter from another child in the house. It will be an amazing experience for us as parents to watch Kyle and his little sister or brother forming a relationship that only siblings have.

We hope one day to expand our family through open adoption and be able to create more memories with another son or daughter.

We thank you for looking at our family and considering an adoption plan.

About Angela

I am a creative, energetic person. I have devoted my career to working with children with special needs. I work for my local school system and have the opportunity to spend summers at home with my family. I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and keeping busy with "house projects." As an avid scrapbooker, I am excited to sit down as a family to flip through the pages of each of our children's scrapbooks and share their story. I have so much fun when we cook together as a family! Our most favorite thing to cook is pasta sauce. My greatest love is Kyle, our son. He has been the best addition to our family. He is a caring, thoughtful toddler who always amazes me and will be an awesome big brother. I love watching him him grow into a little person. We have so much fun going to the parks together, coloring, and running around at soccer practice every Saturday. But I know he will be more excited to do all of these things with a younger sibling! He is my best playmate and I can't wait for another little one to run around with. My husband is just awesome support. He always puts family first and he is my best friend. I think we make a good "team" and share a lot of the same parenting values.
