a note from Angela's sister
Angela has always been a special part of the family and Matt joined right in when he began dating Angela. As parents of three very young sons, Angela and Matt are an unbelievable Aunt and Uncle for our boys. They show so much love and affection for our boys and having a little boy of their own right now, they are truly special parents to this little boy. We are very thankful that they live in close proximity to us that our boys see them as often as they wish and the cousins can play together. We look forward to welcoming a child of Angela and Matt's into our lives so he or she can meet their 3 instant cousins and we can reciprocate all of the love that they have shown our boys through the years.

A message from Angela's Parents
We can't wait to be grandparents for the seventh time!! The joy of being a parent is when a gift from God enters ones life. Angela is our gift. She has always been a caring individual. Even as a little girl, we always knew that she would work with children with special needs. We were so proud of her when she decided to become an occupational therapist. The love she shows for the children she works with is evident everyday. Angela is a terrific mother. Her patience, caring and all of the unique qualities that build the foundation for her journey through motherhood are apparent when we see her with Kyle. And what a great father Matt is! Not only does he have so much fun playing with Kyle, but he extends his playful manner with his niece and nephews as well. He always makes them laugh! As a supportive couple, Matt and Angela will bring all of their love, understanding, and patience to their children. They will teach their children to be loving and independent. We are so happy that they decided to pursue adoption again and are excited that they are extending their family. Their son or daughter will be such a great addition to our family. We are ready to be grandparents again!
A note from Matt's Mom and Dad...
We are so excited to become grandparents again! We can’t wait to share our family traditions of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. We live in Rhode Island so we have snow in the winter and a wonderful coastline and beaches to enjoy in the summer. We look forward to making so many memories with this new grandchild, like taking him or her to the beach during the summer or for a ride on the sled that we saved from Matthew's childhood. There are so many family members and friends waiting for a new baby Bernier to arrive. Matthew’s brother, Scott, is looking forward to being an uncle again.
This baby will have wonderful, caring, loving, compassionate parents in Matthew and Angela. Matthew is a strong, loving, honest, and passionate man. Angela is a patient, loving, warm, and a nurturing woman. They will make great parents. I remember the first time I saw Angela and Matthew together with a child. They have been dating about 2 years and we were celebrating July 4th with Ray’s sister and niece Karen in Pennsylvania. Karen’s little boy was 2yrs. old, Matthew and Angela just sat down on the floor and started playing with him. I could see how caring, loving and engaging they were. I said to myself, what wonderful parents Angela and Matthew will make. Well, we have seen what great parents they are to Kyle. Matthew and Angela are kind, loving, compassionate, protective and nurturing parents to Kyle. They love him completely as do Grandma and Grandpa. This new baby will have all of this and more!
Our family and friends await this child with much anticipation, love and joy. We have so many dreams for this new grandchild; our hearts are ready for this child to join us!
