We have been married for 8 years and together for 12 years. When we first started dating we knew that we shared the same dreams of the future, and that included having a big family. We have experience life separately and together and we are ready for the next chapter in our lives, which would be complete without parenthood.
To Someone Special,
We are Mike and Christine. We want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us. Even though this is a difficult decision for you to make we want you to know that your well being and happiness is important to us. We admire your strength and selflessness of even considering adoption for your child. We don't even know each other but we having something in common already, we want the best for your child. You may be scared or confused with so many things to think about and decide and we hope that by reading about ourselves our life and family that the decision you will make will someday make your heart smile. Life might always go as planned but it is important to know you have the chance to write your own stories beginning and end. We are here to help you through this journey.
Meet Mike and Christine
Adoption is a gift that is priceless to a couple that can't imagine life without family. We tried two years of fertility treatments with one successful attempt that did not end well. Our hearts were broken, but we understood that there was a bigger plan in the works for us. Our desire to become parents became even stronger through all the heartache. We knew we had to be patient, but that wasn’t always easy. Going to the different doctor’s offices three or four times a week started wearing on the both of us, emotionally, physically and financially. We knew that going down this road was not how we wanted to continue trying to build our family. Having multiple immediate family members that were adopted we knew that it was the direction that was meant for us to go. Seeing the love and bond between adoptive family members makes us know that our family unit will someday be completed through adoption. Our faith in starting our family never wavered but the road to get there was just a different path . + more
