We have been together for 9 years and married for 2. We met through mutual friends while Danielle was a senior in high school and Michael was in college. We bought our first home together in 2012 in the town we both grew up in. We have a son who we adopted at birth in 2014. We also have a cat, Aurora and a dog, Georgi. Aurora was from a friends' litter and we rescued Georgi as a puppy from a local shelter. We are fun, easy going people who love to spend time with our family and friends. We love to host barbeques in the summer and we even hosted our first Thanksgiving in our new home with over 20 family members. We live in a suburb of Long Island, New York minutes from both of our families. Danielle has 3 sisters and Michael has one sister. All of our siblings and parents live near by.

Michael is 28 years old and has a greatly rewarding, secure, career as an Air Traffic Controller. Michael is extremely friendly and outgoing. He loves spending time with his friends and family. He’s also incredibly thoughtful, always going out of his way to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Michael loves spending his days off at home with his family. He loves to play with Ryan and enjoys watching him grow and learn every day.

Michael is a snowboarder, and has been skiing and snowboarding since he was 4 years old. Michael loves the quality time he gets to spend with his best ski partner, his father, every winter. Michael can’t wait to take family vacations to the mountains and have our kids on the slopes.

Growing up, Michael had a very active and enjoyable childhood. Between karate, soccer, football, skiing, snowboarding, and skateboarding, he was always having fun. Michael can not wait to give his children the same opportunity to enjoy as many activities as he has.

Danielle is a caring, smart, and loving person. She is an extremely devoted mother to our son. Up until adopting Ryan, Danielle worked for our local school district as a secretary, but she also has a bachelor's degree in social work. Danielle’s passion is caring for and helping others. Danielle will go out of her way to lend an ear and do whatever she can to help those in need. Danielle loves being a stay at home mom. Danielle is looking forward to growing our family.

Danielle has an easygoing personality. She enjoys reading and baking delicious treats. Her favorite dish to bake is cheesecake. She loves spending time with friends and family. She likes to spend time with her sisters. Danielle loves taking our nephew and son to different places, like the park or beach, and watching them play together. Danielle loves that Ryan has a big cousin to look up to and can’t wait for him to have a little brother or sister.

Danielle grew up in a lake community where her mother and sisters still live. She spent her summers swimming in the lake, fishing, and taking rides on the family’s rowboat. She loved taking Ryan to the lake this summer and watching him play in the water with his cousins.

We recently built our first home together, in our hometown. Our neighborhood is just minutes away from both of our parents. It is a 4-bedroom home in a cul-de-sac. We have a big fenced in yard, where we love to spend our summers with friends and family.

Our quiet neighborhood is located on eastern Long Island. There are plenty of great family friendly activities only minutes from our home. We spend our springs and summers camping at local state parks, and going to the beach. We love to go pumpkin picking and to attend the annual fall festival at the nearby pumpkin patch every autumn. We cut down our first Christmas tree for our new home at a farm this past winter. Even though we love living in the suburbs of eastern Long Island, it’s great to be only an hour and a half train ride from Manhattan.

We live in a great school district that we both attended our entire educational careers. Michael’s mom has worked in the district for over 20 years.

We just moved to a brand new neighborhood, filled with young families just like our own. Some of our closest friends also own homes in the neighborhood, and we all look forward to raising our children together in this fun, family oriented environment
